Did you know that most of your daily energy expenditure is actually constant, and not dependent on exercise?
That's because your body is already spending copious amount of energy in daily life, just to move, talk, and perform vital function such as breathing, pumping blood, and thinking with your brain.
Sure - exercise is a great way to rapidly increase total energy expenditure - but it's also tiresome. What if you could get more out of what you're already doing?
Adding weight to your daily routine allows you to lose fat, build muscle, strengthen bones, essentially by achieving a net positive body recomposition, with minimal impact on your daily life. Actually, many people describe it as if they don't even notice the weight is there after while!
Get a little bit extra out of the walk
Burn some extra calories (of what you already do)
Before Natural Resistance, there wasn't really any way of comfortably loading your body for long periods of time.
Sure, loaded backpacks, weight vests and weight cuffs exists, but who would seriously walk around in these things all day? To the office, school and work?
Even if you are determined to get the most out of your daily activity, these options are simply not practical.
They are either:
Too heavy to wear for long periods.
Compresses spine, pulls on shoulders, strains neck.
Too hot to wear. The weights in pockets and sturdy fabric leaves no space for air to flow through.
Bulky and ugly, shameful to wear in public
And while the so-called 'miracle' fat loss drugs exists such as GLPs, do you really want to alter your internal state and hormones with a synthetic chemical which has clear side-effects related losing bone mass and muscle?
