At Natural Resistance, we hold ourselves to the same standard with our terms as we do with our products - clear, direct, and nothing unnecessary.
We are pleased you are interested in our products. These Terms and Conditions explain your rights and our responsibilities when you purchase a product from Natural Resistance for your personal use and when you access or use our Website. Please read them carefully before placing an order.
Natural Resistance AB is a company incorporated under the laws of Sweden, with Swedish company registration number 559462-9877 (referred to in these Terms as "Natural Resistance", "we", "us", or "our"). We design and sell weighted fitness garments and related products, which are manufactured in India and sold to consumers in India and internationally. You can read about and purchase our products on our website, www.naturalresistance.com (the "Website").
These Terms are governed by the Indian Contract Act, 1872, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and all other applicable laws of India. They are valid and binding electronic agreements under Section 10A of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
1. Agreement and Eligibility
These Terms apply between Natural Resistance and you as a customer ("you") when you access and use the Website and purchase products through it. By accessing the Website or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
You may not order or obtain products from the Website if you:
a) do not agree to these Terms;
b) are not at least eighteen (18) years of age; or
c) are prohibited by applicable law from purchasing our products.
By accepting these Terms, you confirm that the information you provide to us is accurate and complete, and that you are purchasing for your personal use only. All orders are made exclusively between you and Natural Resistance AB.
Our Privacy Notice sets out how we collect, use, and protect your personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. It is incorporated into these Terms by reference and is available on the Website.
2. Product Information and Country of Origin
We provide accurate descriptions, images, and specifications for all products listed on the Website. Product images are for illustrative purposes only; actual colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your device display.
Country of origin: Our weighted fitness garments are manufactured in India. The importing entity for products sold to Indian customers is Natural Resistance AB, Ringduvegatan 6, 431 32 Mölndal, Sweden.
All prices displayed on the Website are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless otherwise stated. A full price breakdown, including GST, is displayed at checkout and in your order confirmation.
We reserve the right to correct any errors in product information at any time without prior notice. Where an error affects an accepted order, we will notify you and offer the option to proceed at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.
3. Orders and Order Confirmation
Your order constitutes an offer to purchase the products listed under these Terms. We are not obligated to accept any order and may decline at our discretion. An agreement of sale is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email.
To place an order, select your products and quantities, provide your contact and delivery details, choose a delivery method, and complete payment. Your order is complete when all these steps are fulfilled.
If we accept your order, we will send a confirmation email to the address you provided. You may cancel your order at any time before we send that confirmation email and will be refunded in full for any payment made.
If your order cannot be fulfilled - due to stock unavailability or any other reason, we will notify you promptly and issue a refund for the affected items. For questions about your order, please contact us at sam@naturalresistance.com with your order number.
4. Payment
Payment must be received before we accept and process your order. Payment is made through the methods available at checkout. All refunds will be processed in accordance with the guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and applicable payment regulations.
By completing payment, you confirm that the payment details you have provided are accurate and that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
Prices displayed on the Website are inclusive of applicable GST. Shipping fees and any additional charges are shown separately and itemised in your cart and order confirmation. Price increases apply only to orders placed after the change takes effect.
If you use a promotional code or discount and subsequently return the product, your refund will reflect only the amount you actually paid. The value of any discount will not be reimbursed.
Gift vouchers are valid for the period stated on the voucher, up to a maximum of five (5) years from the date of issue. They cannot be redeemed for cash and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Where a purchase is made using a gift voucher and returned, a store credit equal to the purchase value will be issued.
5. Shipping and Delivery
We ship to delivery addresses within India as listed at checkout. Your order confirmation will state the estimated delivery date. Estimated timelines are indicative only.
We will notify you promptly of any delay. If your order is delayed more than thirty (30) days beyond the date stated in your confirmation and the delay is not attributable to you, you may cancel the order by contacting sam@naturalresistance.com and will receive a full refund.
If delivery is unsuccessful due to an incorrect address, non-availability, or failure to collect, we will attempt an alternative arrangement. If none is possible, the order will be returned to us, the sale cancelled, and a refund issued less any reasonable costs incurred.
You must notify us within thirty (30) days of the expected delivery date if your order has not been received. Failure to do so may affect your right to claim non-delivery.
Upon receiving your delivery, please inspect it promptly. If packaging is visibly damaged or any product is missing or incorrect, please contact us as described in Section 7 below.
6. Products and Health & Safety
Our products are designed for athletic training, fitness, and everyday wear. They are not medical devices and must not be used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
Please use our products strictly in accordance with the instructions and warnings provided with each garment. Use outside these guidelines constitutes misuse.
Using weighted garments involves physical exertion and carries inherent risk. We strongly recommend consulting a qualified medical professional before use if you:
are under 18 years of age;
are pregnant or breastfeeding;
have any cardiovascular, respiratory, or musculoskeletal condition; or
are recovering from illness or surgery.
Website content is provided for informational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and must not be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical consultation.
7. Returns, Refunds, and Your Statutory Rights
Statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019: You have the right to return any product that is defective, spurious, of a different characteristic or specification than advertised, or delivered late. We cannot refuse to accept the return of or refund the consideration for such products. These rights exist regardless of the return policy described below.
Our 30-day return policy: In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a 30-day return window as a commercial courtesy for change-of-mind returns. To be eligible, your return request must be submitted within 30 days of receiving your order, and the product must be unused, unworn, in its original packaging, and with all tags attached. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of products showing signs of use, wear, sweat, odour, or damage.
To initiate a return, please contact us at sam@naturalresistance.com with your order number, name, contact details, and a description of the product(s) you wish to return. We will confirm return instructions within a reasonable time.
Once return confirmation is issued, please dispatch the product within fourteen (14) days. For change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs are your responsibility. For defective or misrepresented products, return shipping costs are borne by us.
Refunds will be processed within a reasonable period in accordance with RBI guidelines, and in any event no later than fourteen (14) days of our receiving the returned goods, to the original payment method. If you are returning a complete order, standard delivery charges will also be refunded.
We also offer a voluntary Refund Programme under which you may request a return after the 30-day period and may be eligible for a partial refund. Full details are on the Website. This programme may be amended or discontinued at any time.
8. Defective Products and Warranty
Under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, you are entitled to seek a refund, repair, or replacement for any product that is defective, deficient in quality, or does not conform to the description provided on the Website.
If you receive a defective product, please notify us as soon as reasonably practicable. Contact our designated Grievance Officer at sam@naturalresistance.com with:
your order number and order date;
your name and contact details; and
a clear description of the defect, with photographs where possible.
We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within one (1) month. We reserve the right to repair, replace, or refund the defective product at our discretion. Refunds for defective products will be processed in accordance with RBI guidelines. Return shipping costs for confirmed defective products are borne by us.
Commercial warranty: Our products carry a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase, applicable to products purchased directly through our Website. To make a warranty claim, contact sam@naturalresistance.com with a description and photograph of the defect and your order details. This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, normal wear, accidents, or unauthorised modifications. It is in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and does not limit them.
9. Cancellation
You may cancel your order at any time before we send your order confirmation email and will receive a full refund. After confirmation, cancellations are subject to our return policy in Section 7 above.
We will not impose unilateral cancellation charges unless equivalent charges are also borne by us in cases where we cancel an order.
If we cancel your order, due to stock unavailability, payment failure, or any other reason, we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund of all amounts paid.
10. Use of the Website
You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of any other person or entity. The Website is for personal, non-commercial use only.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Do not share your login details with any other person. You are responsible for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately at sam@naturalresistance.com if you become aware of any unauthorised access.
The following uses require our prior written consent:
d) automated data collection, scraping, crawling, or data mining;
e) systematic reproduction or commercial exploitation of Website content;
f) use of the Website to collect personal information about other users;
g) circumventing technical security measures; or
h) any activity in violation of applicable Indian law.
11. Personal Data
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Notice and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). Our Privacy Notice, available on the Website, explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights as a Data Principal under the DPDPA. Please read it carefully before placing an order.
By placing an order on the Website, you provide your consent to the processing of your personal data as described in the Privacy Notice. You may withdraw consent at any time using the link provided in the Privacy Notice, subject to lawful processing already completed.
12. Intellectual Property
The Website and all its content, including text, images, logos, design, layout, trademarks, and other materials are the exclusive property of Natural Resistance AB or are used with appropriate permission. They are protected under applicable Indian and international intellectual property law, including the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999, and the Designs Act, 2000.
No content from the Website may be reproduced, copied, modified, distributed, or commercially exploited without our prior written consent.
13. Third-Party Links
The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services not operated by Natural Resistance. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any such third party. Your use of third-party sites is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
14. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights or remedies you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other applicable Indian law. Your statutory rights are not affected by these Terms.
Subject to the above, Natural Resistance's liability to you is limited to direct, actual damages arising from a proven breach of these Terms or from a defect in our products. We are not liable for:
indirect, special, incidental, or consequential loss;
loss of profits, data, or business opportunity;
damage arising from misuse of our products contrary to the supplied instructions; or
losses caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We are not liable for any loss or damage that is not a reasonably foreseeable consequence of our breach. Website content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical, fitness, or professional advice.
15. Prohibited Uses
In addition to other restrictions in these Terms, you must not use the Website or our products to:
i) engage in any unlawful activity under Indian law;
j) transmit false, misleading, or harmful content;
k) infringe our intellectual property or that of any third party;
l) upload or transmit malicious code or software;
m) engage in price manipulation, fraudulent orders, or misrepresentation; or
n) collect or store personal information about other users without authorisation.
16. Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, governmental action, pandemics, labour disputes, supply chain disruptions, or power or telecommunications failures. In cases of late delivery due to force majeure, your right to cancel for non-delivery under Section 7 will be considered accordingly.

If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may escalate through the following mechanisms under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019:
E-jagriti Portal: You may file a complaint online at https://e-jagriti.gov.in
District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission: For claims up to ₹50 lakhs.
State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission: For claims above ₹50 lakhs up to ₹2 crore.
National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC): For claims exceeding ₹2 crore.
Disputes will be resolved in the forum of jurisdiction at the consumer's place of residence or work, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Indian Contract Act, 1872, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Information Technology Act, 2000. Any provisions of these Terms that conflict with mandatory Indian consumer protection law are superseded by that law to the extent of the conflict.
19. General Provisions
Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Notice and any order confirmation email, constitute the entire agreement between you and Natural Resistance regarding your use of the Website and purchase of our products.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable under Indian law, that provision will be severed and will not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
No waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Assignment: We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms at any time. You may not assign your rights without our prior written consent.
Changes to these Terms: We may update these Terms at any time by publishing the revised version on the Website. Changes apply to orders placed after the publication date. Continued use of the Website following any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Website at any time for any breach of these Terms. Obligations incurred before termination remain in effect.
